Seaton

The mile long beach at Seaton is just a ten minute walk from your caravan. Its sparkling clean waters are ideal for bathing, paddling, scuba diving, fishing and yachting. The beach is immaculately clean and safe – perfect for families and children.

Seaton town centre and picturesque harbour with its shops, restaurants, pubs and cafes, offers a full range of activities and has an attractive children’s recreation area and skate park.

From here you can take a ride on the famous open top Tramway to Colyton. The delightful six mile journey takes you along the stunning Axe estuary through some of the most picturesque scenery and villages in the region. Not to be missed!

Just two miles away is the quaint fishing village of Beer where you can hire a boat or take a trip on one of the many fishing boats. You can also go underground on a guided tour of Beer Quarry Caves which has been in use since Roman times. There’s something for everyone at Pecorama, model trains, crazy golf, miniature train rides and landscaped gardens.

With its perfect setting on the ‘Jurassic Coast’ World Heritage Site, you’ll find you don’t have to venture far to discover a wealth of things to do and places to visit. Whether you want to go fishing, walking, see a castle or visit a theme park, Axevale Caravan Park provides a superb base for your holiday activities.

Lyme Regis

Lyme Regis is located just 7 miles away from the caravan park. You’ll discover Lyme Regis is an historic unspoiled seaside resort and fishing port on the world famous Cobb harbour. Surrounded by beautiful coastlines and countryside, the area has now been awarded World Heritage Site Status; famous for its geology and fossil finds.

Exeter

Exeter is a city brimming with history and heritage, with many visitor attractions to keep you entertained for hours on end. From the magnificent Cathedral to the Historic Quayside, there’s so much to see and do in this fascinating city including Roman remains, cinemas, theatre, museum, ten pin bowling and plenty of shops.

Axminster and further afield

The whole area surrounding our Devon Caravan Park is a delight with historic towns and beautiful resorts. Visit Axminster  which is legendary for its old market and carpets, Honiton for its lace, or the historic  village of Branscombe where the ancient church and cottages are now preserved by  the National Trust.

Simply explore the picturesque lanes, quaint unspoilt villages and spectacular coast  or enjoy a visit to one of the many nearby attractions.
